Parents are invited into school from 9am until 9.30am on Wednesday the 2nd November for the next achievement morning. This is an opportunity for you to come and look at your child’s work and ask them to show you work that they are particularly proud of or were excited to learn about.
Please remember to attend the important Maths Whizz training for parents on Wednesday 28th September at either 3.45pm or 7pm. The playground will be supervised for the 3.45 session as children are not allowed to attend this training. Please ensure that you attend or send a representative. With thanks, NWJS.
We hope that you have had a restful summer holiday and are ready for the new term. We are carrying out some re-structuring work to our website in order to make it more user friendly. We apologise if you are unable to access a page you are looking for, or cannot find something where it used to be.
The sun has finally appeared - please remember to send your child into school with a water bottle and a hat.
The following classes will not have a teacher; therefore you will need to make other arrangements for your child tomorrow.
Do not send your child to school if he/she is in one of these classes:
3 Holly
3 Willow
4 Maple
6 Rowan
6 Poplar
4 Juniper, 5 Beech and 5 Elm will run as normal.
Thank you for your support
Thank you for sending your children into school today with a packed lunch. The gas work has been completed and school dinners will be back to normal tomorrow. The children will be pleased to know that chicken pie is being rescheduled for Thursday. Thank you for your understanding and we apologise for the inconvenience today.
Yesterday we had gas engineers out to investigate a potential leak. Further work needs to be carried out this morning, which means that our gas is temporarily switched off. Please send your child into school with a packed lunch today. We apologise for the inconvenience caused to you.
On Friday 17th June, Mrs Higginson, was announced as a Silver Teaching Award Winner in the category, ‘The Award for Teacher of the Year in a Primary School’ in the Pearson Teaching Awards 2016! Mrs Higginson will now join fellow Silver Award winners at the UK final of the Teaching Awards at London’s Guildhall on 23rd October, where 10 Silver Award winners will receive a Gold Plato Award. This is a huge achievement and we wish Mrs Higginson the best of luck for the next part of the process.
